The Department of Health Sciences (DISSAL) in collaboration with the Department of Education Sciences (DISFOR) of the University of Genoa is conducting a research project to delve into the health needs of the migrant population, their perceptions of well-being, and the main difficulties encountered in accessing health services.

There is still limited information available on migrants' access to health services and preventive strategies in Liguria, including language, cultural, and socioeconomic barriers. This study aims to fill these gaps by analyzing possible disparities and critical factors such as stigma, discrimination, and insufficient resources.
